But the first time I saw a hanbok was actually in Soul Calibur 2. Seung Mina was the character who wore a lovely blue hanbok as a clothing option, and wouldn't you know that in order to appeal to fans they exaggerated the skirt movement physics a LOT. (she didn't wear pantaloons so you ended up seeing her bare legs underneath... XDD )
So yeah, I've been fascinated by hanboks ever since. ^^
Anyway, I am not good at English and could not make myself understood in English, But One thing that is certain is that what you said is interesting. I know about Seung mi na of Soul Calibur and blue hanbok.(but i don't know the face that she didn't wear pantaloons.)
If you want to know some more about Korea, ask me in and out of season. Thank you.
Have a nice day!

That's really more victorian inspired though, with a cage and tight bodice. But I guess these days girls over in any part of the southern Korean peninsula can choose whatever they want to wear as a petticoat... XDD
and I found nice photos on website.

Btw I'm still going for a floofy crinoline skirt-style hanbok, if only as an anime portrait. I'd like to send you a link, but this will have to be finished first... XP
